Think You’re Done With Pit Detox? Think Again.

Unless you’re one of the lucky few, when you first switched to a natural deodorant you experienced the dreaded Pit Detox process. While it’s ultimately a good thing to purge all those toxins and heavy metals from your body, the detox process ain’t always pretty. It can be like wading through ankle-deep mud while also being chased by a hungry liger - unpleasant and, frankly, a little terrifying. But eventually you get through the sweating, smelling and tenderness that can accompany purging your pits, emerging victorious. You pat yourself on the back and put away your detox kit for good. Phew! Glad that’s over. But the Pit Masters at P3 are here to let you know that detox isn’t necessarily a one and done type of process…

The Daily Detox

If you’ve tried what seems like every natural deodorant on the planet, including our supercharged Extra Strength formula, and none of them can handle what you got, you may want to consider incorporating a daily detox with one of our Charcoal deodorants.

How it Works

Activated charcoal is highly absorbent and acts like a magnet for toxins and impurities, including the ones that cause odor in the first place. Applying the Charcoal formula each night before bed gives your body a B.O. fighting boost – pulling all that stink-causing gunk out of your pits while you sleep peacefully. Sensitive skin? No problem! Charcoal Pit Paste is baking soda free. Choosing Charcoal is easy; choosing between Unscented and Seaside is the hard part!

Each morning, use your favorite Pit Paste as usual to combat body odor throughout the day.

What was your pit detox journey like? Have you tried incorporating a daily detox into your routine? We want to hear about it in the comments below!

I WAS one of the lucky ones and then my hormones rebelled. Suddenly I wondered why my beloved PPP was letting me down. Turns out it was detox time! I detoxed and me and my PPP were BFF’s again. I plan on adding nightly detox to avoid this situation as my hormones continue to go rogue during menopause!
